Alexia Kohnenkampf
Founder of Havora Disability Support
Sutherland Shire, Sydney | Servicing all of Sydney
I’m Alexia Kohnenkampf - Founder of Havora Disability Support, a small, family-run business proudly based in the Sutherland Shire and servicing all of Sydney.
At just 25, I bring over five years of experience as a disability support worker, and I’m currently in my final year of nursing studies at the University of Notre Dame (temporarily deferred due to welcoming my little one into the world).
Havora isn’t a large organisation - it’s just me, and that’s what makes the support I provide truly personal. Being a sole trader allows me to build strong, one-on-one relationships with participants and their families. I treat every person I support like family, with warmth, respect, and genuine care. You’re not just another number, you’re part of the Havora family!
Over the years, I’ve supported clients aged 5 to 80 with a wide range of physical, intellectual, and behavioural needs, including:
-
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD – high support and non-verbal)
-
ADHD & ADD
-
Cerebral palsy
-
Down syndrome
-
Schizoaffective disorder
-
Muscular dystrophy
-
Epilepsy
-
Traumatic brain injuries
-
Spinal cord injuries
-
Endocrine conditions (e.g. hypothalamic & pituitary disorders, adrenal insufficiency)
-
Diabetes management
I’m also trained in complex support, including:
-
PEG feeding
-
Catheter care
-
Tracheostomy care
-
Complex behavioural support
At Havora, I believe disability support should feel like home, safe, familiar, and built around you. I work closely with each participant to ensure that every part of their care aligns with their personal goals, routines, and medical needs.
This work is my passion and calling. I believe that everyone deserves accessible, high-quality support, and I allow participants to help determine a reasonable rate for their support. One that suits both their situation and the sustainability of the service. This reflects my commitment to building authentic, trusting relationships where participants feel in control, respected, and supported every step of the way.
If you're looking for a warm, consistent, and trustworthy support worker who truly values your individuality, you're in the right place.
